Nelson overview

FireSmart is a national program that helps Canadians build resilience to wildfire while reducing its impact on our communities.   Every season, new communities are forced to face the threat of wildfires making it vital to not only prepare for wildfire as a city but also as individuals.  The FireSmart program provides simple actions that homeowners and residents can implement around their properties to protect their homes from wildfire.  Get started with the FireSmart Begins at Home Guide and be sure to complete the Self-Assessment.
